Sounds of the East is a live tribute concert presented in Ottawa and Montréal for two exceptional evenings celebrating the music of three defining icons of the Arab world: Sayed Darwish, Abdel Halim Hafez, and Mohammed Abdu.
Presented first at the University of Ottawa’s Alumni Auditorium, followed by the Cinquième Salle at Place des Artsin Montréal, the concert will bring new life to the timeless songs that have shaped generations and touched audiences across the Arab world.
